About this site
Immoauctions is a private hobby project. It lists forced auctions of real estate in Switzerland as published in the Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce (SHAB) – free, without registration and without advertising.
Where does the data come from?
Debt enforcement and bankruptcy offices must announce every property auction in the SHAB. These official notices are publicly available on amtsblattportal.ch. This site collects them every day and presents them in a clear format.
How are summary, address, estimate and property type produced?
The offices publish these details only as running text. Summary, property type, address, area, estimate and the position on the map are derived from it with various automatic methods. That often works well, but not always: details can be wrong, incomplete or outdated, and individual auctions can be missing. Where only the municipality is known, the map shows its centre.
Languages and translations
The site is available in German, English, French and Italian. The offices publish in the official language of their canton; on every detail page the official text can be switched between the original and an automatic translation. Translations are a reading aid without warranty; in any case only the official SHAB publication is authoritative. For new notices the translation may follow with a short delay.
Can I rely on it?
No – not without checking the official notice. Only the notice in the SHAB and the auction conditions and list of encumbrances of the responsible office are authoritative. Every detail page links directly to the original notice. There is no warranty for accuracy, completeness or timeliness and no liability for decisions based on this site.
How often is it updated?
Usually daily; the time of the last update is shown in the footer. Cancellations are picked up as soon as they are published in the SHAB. Past auctions stay in the archive for a few months. Whether a property was sold, and at what price, is not published in the SHAB.
Map
The base map is the national map by swisstopo, switchable to OpenStreetMap. Every auction can also be saved as a calendar entry (.ics).
Privacy
This site is static and sets no cookies. Visits are counted with Simple Analytics – without cookies, without fingerprinting, without personal data; the IP address is not stored. Whether you acknowledged the welcome notice and which language you chose is remembered only by your browser (local storage, no cookie, no transmission); the notice entry expires after 30 days and both can be deleted at any time in the browser settings. Map tiles are loaded directly from swisstopo or OpenStreetMap. Notices are removed a few months after the auction.
The names of the debtors and other personal details are usually beside the point. We therefore try to black them out of the official notices wherever possible. Otherwise the official notice text is reproduced unchanged; the complete notice is available via the SHAB link.
